You can’t trust those WiFi and access your personal info or banking statements etc. Avoid using banking-related stuff using public WiFi at any cost. Never even make online payments on Public WiFi as well.
Use Multifactor Authentication On Your Account
Be it your bank account, Facebook account, or any other account, use two-factor authentication on your account. Two-factor authentication is a really safe method that keeps your account much more secure. It won’t let you log in to your accounts without your permission all the time. Two Factor Authentication Method must have security for all your accounts. Don’t avoid this.

Update the software
Whenever you are getting windows or iOS updates, update them. Hackers might find some back doors using the older versions to access your PC or devices. Don’t ignore the update of any software. Keep antivirus up to date. Keep all of your software updated. Avoid using cracked software which gives you high chances of affecting your accounts or PC.

Don’t Open unknown links
This is the era of spam emails. You will get a lot of emails for offers on many things. Don’t ever click on the links from non trusted sites. VPN lets you keep your identity hidden while you are on the internet. That’s the best way to stay safe while browsing. Use it as much as you can. Use trusted VPNs such as Nord, Browsec, etc.

Keep your eyes on permission
Whenever you install a new game or an app, it asks you for permission to access your contacts, gallery, calls, etc. Make sure you are not giving unwanted permission to those apps. For example, for an app like a VPN or to-do list, you don’t need to give contacts or calls permission. Keep your eyes on allowing permission for apps. You can avoid permitting them if it is not necessary.

Don’t share bank details on calls
The bank never asks you for the credit card details or the password. They might ask you for your name and address for verification. But they never ask you for PINs and passwords.
